What do you mean today? It's been available in Bloomington, IL for 2 weeks or so.

Here in Indianapolis I've seen it in both bars and liquor stores for about two weeks as well. I thought maybe we were just a test market until I saw Matt's comment.

You guys were probably the test market. The rest of us get it now. How does it compare to Kahlua? I'm tempted for a Starbuck's White Russian.

More importantly, how does the Starbucks liqueur taste on top of Starbucks brand ice cream? :)

Actually, I had it over Hagen Daaz Vanilla, but I'm sure it would be excellent over most any brand of ice cream. As for the taste on its own, if you like Kahlua, you'll like it, and it would make a killer White Russian! I thought the coffee flavor was more pronounced, just like Starbucks coffee is more intense than most.
BTW --- to try it without breaking the bank, you can buy it in the 2 oz. "airline" size. (I forget what they're really called.) I got one for a buck ninety-nine 'cos I know the guy at the liquor store. I think they were selling for $2.99. Still cheaper than 20+ dollars, especially if it turns out you don't like it that well.

We had Starbucks Coffee Licquor served in Belgian Chocolate cups at a wedding reception in Iowa. We loved them so we had a trayful at our table. Delish.

This stuff and delicious and will cause more than a buzz if you drink enough! There is two kinds, the creme and the coffee one, The coffe one is stronger. Though you can mix the two and they taste even better! This is great for Holidays or for partys or just relaxing by oneself. I found this stuff by mistake. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!
