Starbucks Classic Coffee ice cream wins contest
Tasters raved about its "rich, authentic coffee flavor" and dark, "caramelly" color. This ice cream went down smooth and easy with its rich, dense, "excellent creamy texture." Lappert's Kona Coffee was runner-up. Third-place went to Haagen-Dazs Coffee, while Whole Foods store brand 365 Double Latte came in fourth. Fifth place went to Haagen-Dazs Light. If they didn't include Tully's ice cream in the taste test the results are worthless.
You can't top Tully's espresso ice cream.

Well, it won the competition between THE BRANDS INCLUDED, not every ice cream brand on the planet. I have the feeling that even if Tully's was included, and didn't win, you'd feel the results were worthless.

I might have to try this; just noticed it the other day at the store.

All the baristas at my location have to wear t-shirts to promote the ice cream next week.
Does starbucks still sell coffee anymore?

the drink is a mint mocha chip frappuccino with no whip mocha affagato style (which means 1 shot of espresso poured over mocha drizzle)

The "ice cream social" is today, and in advance I was given a gift certificate for free Starbucks ice cream from the grocery.
I tried it (Java Chip) last night and I must say it really is fabulous.
Needless to say, I will wholeheartedly and shamelessly promote it this afternoon!

Starbuck's Classic coffee was not good. tried it the other day afterhearing all the ravings but it really wasn't that good....too sweet with a very grainy texture...don't know what to say...the contest may not have been fair afterall !
