I guess with enough ex-Burger King managers at Starbucks it was only a matter of time they would find something to work together on.
But to be honest I was more afraid it would be us selling Whoppers and fries than this way around. Way to go!

I am so excited about this! This is like saying, Ronald McDonald, bow to the King! What a perfect idea! Now they have a name brand coffee in their stores, BK breakfast will be better (as will sales), Seattle's Best does better... and thus Starbucks gains. WIN WIN for all!
This I think is a small white light at the end of a long tunnel! Yes, this wont have much impact on much yet, but if we keep getting these clever ideas, then we will get through this!

This move makes a lot of sense to me. I think the SBC brand allows Starbucks to reach the mainstream market without compromising the premium image of the Starbucks brand. I think they realize it was a mistake not to use it in McDonald's, so they're rolling it out now in full force with the Subway and BK deals. I imagine there's going to be more to come (perhaps even enough to save the jobs of the roasting plant employees).

Always a big fan of the BK Croissanwiches. They still don't hold a candle to the scratch biscuit sandwiches from Hardee's, but still so much better than a dried out Egg McMuffin and those wretched McGriddle pancake sandwiches.

Again SBUX bastardizing their core business for so called "growth" in its newest ventures. If SBUX continues down this path, I suggest that SBUX buy the Folgers or Maxwell House names.
Hear Music, the SBUX movies, Via, Chantico, Sorbetto, iTunes, Clover, Vianno, I can go on and on. Refrigerated (sandwich) food, and the Frappuccino seem to be the last real hits added to the menu.
