The Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago is putting on a show featuring about 150 works of Starbucks baristas, "many of whom are accomplished and aspiring artists (musicians, actors, painters)," says this report. WHAT I WANT TO SEE: Dogs playing pool -- while drinking coffee -- on canvas. (ABC7Chicago.com)
I love this site because it's all about hostility toward the coporate parent, not about cheap, snotty potshots toward its front line customer service employees.
Oh, wait.

And this is a Starbucks? Not in any town I've visited,
(and found better coffee and lattes elsewhere, always)
"The Event: Starbucks will transform the MCA Warehouse into a posh
club experience - featuring complementary appetizers, martinis,
imported beer, wine, liqueur and music. Martini/vodka provided by
Smirnoff; Beer provided by Stella Artois; liqueur provided by
Grand Marnier; Music provided by Pete Crow; Valet parking
available."
Now if this was the Art Institute of Chicago, it
would be a story, (and the end of civilization as
we know it, like the Bushies ignoring Tuesday's ACIA report: The canary is choking, folks.)
