A recently Seattle newspaper column made it sound like Howard Schultz and New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd were an item. Fox News' Neil Cavuto asked the Starbucks chairman about that. His response: "I'm a happily married man. And Maureen Dowd is a good friend of mine. I took her out to dinner on a book tour in Seattle, and there you have it." (Seattle Post-Intelligencer)
Gross. I really hope that this is not true. I'd hate to think of him as a typical slime ball.

Hi! I one time had this woman call up Starbucks and ask if her husband was at the store. I asked her what he looked like and said that sure he was sitting in one of the comfy chairs talking to their daughter. She then said her daughter was in college in Florida. Opppppppppppppps! Lets just say she came down in a hurry. I guess the whole entire Starbucks dating service was taken a little too far.
