Of course they aren't. Kristin Erekson checked out ten Starbucks stores in Beantown to see how they differed. Her ratings range from "one comfy chair" to "five comfy chairs." (Boston Herald)
Not affiliated with Starbucks Corporation (obviously)
Well, its good to get a persons honest view. I mean at Starbucks the pastry case should always look full and the RTD case be stocked, but this gal is a little bit of her rocking chair I may add. Poor Boston.

I read the reviews, The Boston Herald is horrible. I am sorry Starbucks was scrutinized by this idiot writer. The reviews said nothing...and whats with the comfy chair rating? I guess they cut down on the article space so it wasn't very interesting. It was like reading a travel book about possible hotel options. This young woman needs to quit writing, unless she has something to say. Poor Starbucks

that was written like it was by someone who doesn't understand that all Starbucks are corporate-owned (well cept for the target ones she went into). Evaluating the "menu options" at each different store like they'd be vastly different. Going into licensed Starbucks (in the "worst" parts of town no less)? WTF

So basically what she's trying to say is, Starbucks in nicer neighborhoods are nicer? Hmm, I wonder if my local paper would pay for me to visit all of our local Starbucks. I'm not a writer, but I could certainly manage to rate "comfy chairs".

our store doesn't have ONE table, we have very little space because we're in a mall food court. our store gets insanely busy, so we have over ten people in about twenty square feet of space trying to make coffee for a literally never-ending crowd. and yet we're CONSTANTLY getting compliments about how great we are; i've worked here for about six weeks and i've never heard one complaint.
so that comfy chairs thing is bullcrap.

The decor of the various Starbucks in my area varies. One spot has a very lively and colorful wallpaper. Does anyone know where Starbucks gets its wallcoverings?
