An old man plowed into customers at an El Monte, CA Starbucks; a firebomb went off at a store in Greece; and a Starbucks customer was shot by a robber in Indianapolis. (Read the story at Sploid.com)

wow....crazy times!!!
A few weeks ago, we had two customers on our patio get into a verbal fight that came to thrown coffee and almost to punches. The best part was when someone came in screaming for security...did they not realize they were at a Starbucks?

Welp, nobody died. Good times.
My Starbucks weekend consisted of walking for the city's local Relay For Life to raise money for Cancer research and support programs. We had fun!

Never any positive publicity on Starbucks? You're kidding! You apparently don't read the papers/magazines. Business reporters swoon over Starbucks.

"Man gets absolutely delicious latte at a local Starbucks. Was it in your neighborhood? Stay tuned -- more at 11."
"White House sources have confirmed for the Post that the Banana Creme Frappuchino is a TASTE SENSATION that may or may not be sweeping the nation -- exclusive story, page 4."

The Starbucks Gossip guru has been involved with promoting this site lately, Green Apron-style. Starbucks is a part of corporate America so it's no wonder it's seen positively in the public eye -- it's Starbucks! It's a good example for the rest of corporate America, a "lesser of evils," if you really want to place an entity of so many on a few mistakes in administration and standard. The Starbucks dogma is very well written, and often enough well practiced ...

I should also report that I received a report that a Starbucks in Boston was recently robbed one night last Thursday I believe.

After reading the article, all I can think is that none of the listed events have anything to do directly with Starbucks in and of itself...just that these things happened to have happened in a SBUX. Had they happened anywhere else...well...they would have happened somewhere else. These events don't seem to reflect the "security" of SBUX customers. Also, what do you expect when there are as many SBUXs as there are in the world? Of course things (both good and bad) are going to happen. Do these events have anything to actually do with SBUX? No...because they were events not directly linked to SBUX...other than locaiton.

How many McDonalds were robbed over the weekend? Probably many. How many people were probably shot at a McDonalds? Who knows.
SHIT HAPPENS. This is not news.
