It appears the AT&T roll-out has begun. Are any other stores now equipped with the AT&T wi-fi? (Read Alan Weinkrantz's post)
Not affiliated with Starbucks Corporation (obviously)
San Antonio, why there first?

The Starbucks I frequent in St. Louis have had AT&T for U-verse/home broadband customers for weeks. What has not happened yet is access because you are a Starbucks customer, not an AT&T customer. For now, I use T-Mobile by clicking through a link on the splash screen.

I go to the Starbucks they installed this at all the time. It is a smaller neighborhood location, no drive-thru. However, only a block away from the AT&T headquarters.

I think the Denver market is getting there's soon. We had a sight survey a week or 2 ago and today AT&T called to confirm our address for installation.
Yippee!!

I remember reading something about having a Starbuck's card or Duetto card to get free access. Maybe that's why you can't tap into the system. Better yet, get an iphone with AT&T mobility. It works anywhere!!!

I'm so juiced too! I'm the one who received the call straight from Seattle about the installation of at&t in our store. They installed it on Monday but I'm not sure if its working yet cuz I haven't work this week yet.
Partners get free access right? I wonder how's that gonna work. Probably we use our partner numbers or sort of like that huh?! Oh I'm excited!

I've had it up & running in Fresno/Clovis, CA for about 2 weeks now. It's the same as the T-Mobile portal, and the ssid is still branded tmobile, but there's a big link for AT&T customers to login.

So, is the AT&T link free, or do you need to pay the T-Mobile fee? And is it free with a Starbuck's card or Duetto card that's active? I know that with an iphone you just cancel the t-mobile pop-up and it works fine with the AT&T connection. Anyone else have more details?

Why doesn't SB wake up and give the wifi away for free?
Charging is pretty lame.
We've never charged and never will.
Only had one customer ever who had to be told not to camp.

Today at my store in Waco Texas, I got two wifi signals showing up on my iPhone, both the t-mobile and at&t. I went to the back and didn't see what appeared to be any new equipment but I could have missed something. We have not been told anything about our going live with at&t and I wasn't able to reach my store manager to see if he knew anything about it.
Hope it happens soon.

when i open the homepage on my computer there's a little AT&T link in the right hand corner next to the t-mobile part.
Does anyone know how free internet for partners is gonna work??
Why don't people get that the internet is free? If you a a registered Starbucks gift card or a Starbucks Duetto card. How hard is it to get a Starbucks people? If you want free internet so bad buy a $5 gift card-buy your Venti Caramel Frap with extra caramel-register your gift card-and get free internet forever at any Starbucks!!

I am not sure how the partner free internet is going to work, we might just get usernames and passwords individually.
Regarding the customer free internet, from what I have heard it will be 2 free hours a day with a registered Starbucks card.
