...it seemed to get so-so to negative reviews. "Too tart," I heard one customer say. Another -- an elderly curmudgeon -- just rolled his eyes and muttered, blended lemonade? (Maybe it was just a crabby bunch; commenters say they got a better reaction.) What's your review of the just-launched drink?
i find it extremely delicious with the original green tea, sweet and not annoyingly tart. the perfect embodiment of summertime. :)
i, however, would not recommend the lemonade with the passion tea. i literally froze in my spot, with the first sip--and not from delight.
if you are into tart, perfumy, sour, biting beverages go for it. the taste was...not nice, especially when i thought 'how can i go wrong with my favorite passion tea'. i think it tasted so bad, because i was expecting a different taste: a sweeter, fruiter flavor.
do try and judge for yourself, don't take my word!

Too tart!? what is that? Its quite perfect in my opnion and could easily be double or triple as tart as it is and would still be tasty.
I live in phoenix and at 115 degrees plus outside its just right. Not to sweet, not to flavorful. I thinks its kind of light and is just right. Anyway, I want to start making them at home too.

Maybe I'm a little late on commenting, but I work at Starbucks and finally tried the BSL - get it with 2-3 pumps of rasberry!
It takes some of that extreme tart away and then tastes more like a smoothie.
