"The big challenge for Starbucks Corp. in India will be to foster a culture of coffee-drinking in a country where tea has long been the most popular hot beverage though coffee drinking in India has risen markedly in recent years," notes the Wall Street Journal. It's asking readers in India what they want to see in Starbucks stores.
Any thoughts on what should be on Starbucks' "Indianized" menu?
What should Starbucks sell in India?
Mocha-curry latte?
Dark chocolate does go well with chilis....
Something could work.

This joint is getting really dull. Do they tip in India should stir things up?

Herman -- sorry that not all posts can be reach the Masturbating-in-SBUX-Bathrooms level. Funny thing is that the India + Starbucks will be a huge traffic draw because anyone googling those two words will find their way here.
But I'm not doing this for traffic; I'm doing it for good conversation, so let's get back to that!

I think a better tea provider should help. Perhaps a cardamom latte? Or flavored chais? I'd be more interested to see the pastry case: lamb/curry puffs and samosas!!!

Who's going to be the first to say tall coffee and extra hot chai..

Tall Chai Tea Latte with an extra tall cup on the side...and an extra lid...and sleeve...
Sorry...had to say it...
But in all honesty, the food offerings will probably be more of a problem over the drinks.

Second to the gulab comment. I would buy it out every day if it was served near me.
