As a part of an expansion, the Robinson Funeral Home in Easley, SC is adding a "Coffee Corner" where a Starbucks licensed store will open. The story points out that "because it's not a full-sized store, they're not allowed to put Starbucks' signage on the building's exterior as part of the agreement with the coffee giant."
I've previously reported on a Starbucks inside a car dealership, but I don't recall posting anything about a SBUX in a funeral home. Anyone with a better memory than me?
Actually this was a topic on the site last summer.

That kinda seems like a weird thing to install in a funeral home. I've never heard of such a thing. I wonder if any funeral homes in toronto has done such things?

Thank you for sharing! If I were attending a funeral in Toronto, a Starbucks is definitely the last thing I would expect to see. It's pretty crazy that people need their coffee this badly!

That's crazy! I wonder if that will be a trend, and if it is, whether the local funeral home in Arlington Heights, IL will be part of it.

Considering how potent Starbucks coffee is, maybe they are not putting it there for the mourners. Maybe they are putting a Starbucks in the funeral home to wake the dead.
