“It’s a grassroots effort organized on Facebook,” said Jim Childers of Whidbey Arms, who is sorry that his closest Starbucks is 40 miles from his store.
* Friday is go armed to Starbucks day
* "I will be getting my caffeine fix for the day, with my Kimber sitting on my hip"
Good. The more these lunatics act like this, the sooner that sensible gun control will return and castrate their manhood enhancers.

I'm a woman, and I conceal carry at my Starbucks every morning. Care to tell me how that's enhancing my manhood? If you don't like it, shop somewhere else. It's that simple.

I don't know why this is such a big deal. Starbucks says it will comply with local laws and people are shopping elsewhere?
It was nice to have appreciative customers for one day.

I worked Friday and I never heard a thing about this.

Thanks for your opinion burntbean. Next time I need to make a decision on a constitutional right, ill be sure to ask you.

scotch_tapes if you are carrying openly you are a moron, doubly so if you aren't using a retention holster, which I bet most of these idiots won't be using.
carry smart, carry concealed.

scotch_tapes So 'open carry' is a 'constitutional right?' Shouldn't you be screaming about Obama's birth certificate somewhere?
Posted by: Crateish | August 11, 2013 at 09:22 AM
Nope. I respect our nations elected leader. Owning a firearm is a constitutional right. In states where open carry is legal, I do. In states where it is not, I don't. I am a law abiding citizen and veteran of the military.... But please, continue to assume that I am a birther or tea partier because I follow laws written by elected officials.

I just don't see any good reason to carry a gun into a coffee shop, be it legal or illegal.
